Our friend Evan Minsker, Pitchfork's main stringer in the metro Detroit area, has hung out with Protomartyr in their Ferndale practice space (goodbye Russell Industrial) for"This Is How We Do It," the first of a new podcast series from Conde Nast's newest acquisition, Pitchfork. And we are encouraged to download it via a wetransfer link. Wait, we thought the future was streaming?! Anyway, to switch from the royal we to the royal first person, I just downloaded it, so it it's actually some kind of virus or something, I'll let you know. Next up is Wolf Eyes. We hope they will give a chance to bands that aren't from Detroit, but we understand that many of the best bands on Earth are from here, so that's cool.

Download it here.

Pitchfork's new podcast series is called "This Is How We Do It". We're sitting down with bands and artists to discuss their creative process, materials, gear, aesthetic, working relationship with other artists, and more. In the first installment, Pitchfork's Evan Minsker joined Protomartyr at their practice space in Ferndale, Michigan to discuss their new album The Agent Intellect."This Is How We Do It" is presented in partnership with WeTransfer. The next installment, due in November, will feature a conversation with Wolf Eyes. More episodes are in the works.
