It's Monday, and you need a reason to live. Time marches forward, and onward, and it's all enough to give a person a huge headache.


Over on the Clone Defects Facebook page (come on, you check that at least once daily, don't you?), they recently posted live footage from 17 years ago, at the Gold Dollar. The band is captured in fine, frenetic form.


"The Clone Defects: Gold Dollar, Detroit, MI, May 16, 2000, filmed by Paul Unger," the description reads.


This video was originally posted seven years ago by Unger/August Media, who've been doing pro quality shoots of live music in Detroit for twenty-plus years, and sharing archives of other cool stuff — check out that Oblivians set from the Third Man pressing plant opening if you haven't already.
