Movement Music Festival announces ticket pre-sale for Memorial Day weekend

It's all coming home to Techno City for another round of Movement Music Festival.

The dance music festival recently announced the dates for its 13th edition, once again coinciding with Memorial Day weekend. The three-day event will be hosted in Hart Plaza from Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27.

Movement Music Festival has established itself as a destination festival bringing music fans from across the world to Detroit to experience the city that created techno. It's been heralded as one of the top music festivals by Resident Advisor and as a must-see festival by Rolling Stone. In years past, lineups have included headlining names like Kraftwerk, Wu-Tang Clan, Carl Cox, and of course, the godfathers of techno themselves: Juan Atkins, Derrick May, and Kevin Saunderson.

The first wave of pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Friday, Nov. 2 at noon and can be purchased here.
