A few days ago, Detroit rap celebrity Miz Korona gave me the good news that she's finally got a release date for her upcoming album. In comical fashion, the album is called Sealy Posturepedic (The Most Slept On) and refers to the fact that despite being one of the better lyricists in the city, people still overlook her body of work. Hopefully that will all change with her new album that drops Feb 28.
On her latest release, "The Whole City Behind Me," she enlists ace emceesMarv Won and Nametag to help with verses and utilizes her longtime production partner Chanes to handle the beat. Former Detroit athletes Steve Yzerman and Grant Hill get shoutouts, but most importantly, Korona reminds listeners that she's not to be taken lightly and that you better pay attention if you know what's good for you.
