Mike Servito
Mike Servito may call Brooklyn home these days, but that doesn’t mean that the international DJ’s roots don’t run deep in Detroit. As a homegrown DJ in the ’90s Midwest rave scene, Servito has authentically fashioned himself as a selector’s selector. Strongly associated with the Bunker NY and Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions, Servito is known for ripping through vinyl and laying down fat acid bass lines. On Friday, Servito will return home to the Motor City for the second anniversary of “Detroit, the House of Techno” at Marble Bar to spin records with Norm Talley and Daniel Bell.

Detroit, the House of Techno will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 at Marble Bar; 1501 Holden St., Detroit; 313-338-3674; residentadvisor.net; Tickets are $15+.
