Luna plays Saint Andrews in four months

Luna, the best-looking band in all of indie-rock, plays Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit in four months, on Thursday, October 15. You can buy tickets here. This is not super new news; I believe these dates were released a few weeks ago.

But we are just getting super excited about it over here, as we've not seen that band in 13 years or something, and if Jon Pareles at the Grey Lady is to be believed, they are still worthy of your time, money, and devotion.

You might not know that I helped to release a book on his former band, Galaxie 500. If you're a super fan, you might like it. But of course the better buy is Dean's own book, which is even indubitably one of the better rock books in the last few decades.
