Lovely Haitian instrumental folk guitar music from 1954 by Frantz Casseus


This friend of a friend on Facebook just posted that this dude is his great-uncle, which then reminded me that this highly nifty record exists!


It also reminds me that I need to finish unpacking my records so that I can dig this out.


I bought a fabulous reissue of this Folkways 10" late last summer, listened to it a few times, then packed it away for my move. I seriously need motivation for things like that (unpacking).
