Celebrating nearly 12 years in the music business and almost as many accounts of assaulting women, multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning R&B performer Chris Brown is coming to DTE Energy Theatre on Wednesday, July 25.

What we can do, however, is provide a list of artists slated to visit metro Detroit that same week and remind y'all that Brown received five years of community service and probation for the vicious physical assault against Rihanna in 2009.
In February, protestors marched in opposition of R. Kelly's performance at Little Caesars Arena. Kelly, who stood trail for child pornography charges and is alleged to have perpetrated sexual assault, continues to tour around the country, with stops in Detroit generally included in his tour schedule.
