Back in 2001, Jack White mused, "Well, you're in your little room and you're working on something good/ But if it's really good, you're gonna need a bigger room" on White Blood Cells' eerily prescient "Little Room." It seems that now White needs a bigger room — a much bigger room, in fact.

Today, White announced tour dates in support of his forthcoming solo record, Boarding House Reach. For the Motor City stop on April 19, White will play at the 22,000-capacity Little Caesars Arena — his first Detroit-area arena show. White also has a Michigan date at Grand Rapids' 20 Monroe Live on April 21.

A presale for Third Man Records' "Vault" members is available at 10 a.m. on Jan. 22. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26 and are available at Ticketmaster.
