What has six number one singles, a 24/7 hotline that provides emergency services to those in need of a song-fix, and one — sometimes two — very powerful mustaches?

If you answered the number-one best selling duo in music history, Hall & Oates, you would be correct and now you're probably involuntarily compelled to hum “Rich Girl” — you're welcome.

For nearly 50 years, Hall & Oates have been enchanting the masses with their soft-rock royalty status and their unmatched songwriting sorcery — and they're bringing their hit-making charisma to the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater at Freedom Hill on Friday, Aug. 23.
