You know what they say — good things come in threes. Such is true for sisterly indie trio Haim. It’s very difficult to dislike the modern day Wilson Phillips vibes of Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim, best known for producing hook-heavy road-trip worthy jams. Though the band might be pop-rock L.A darlings and #besties with Taylor Swift, if you have any doubt about their street cred maybe their recent collaboration with visionary director Paul Thomas Anderson might change your mind. And if that isn’t enough to persuade you into understanding their magic, well you might be doomed, dead, or dying because these sisters have soul in spades.

Haim will perform at The Fillmore on Tuesday, May 8; Doors open at 7 p.m.; 2115 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-961-5451; thefillmoredetroit.com; Tickets start at $35.
