Anchored in Ferndale on Nine Mile just west of Woodward Avenue, Q is an eclectic hangout for dancing, drinking and mingling. Upon entrance, patrons are greeted by the animatronic Sally, a John Waters-esque statue who laughs hysterically for the paltry toll of four bits. Although the interior sports the traditional bar set up, said bar is flanked by two beautifully decorated seating areas, a billiards table and a dance floor. Possibly the most appropriate atmosphere for drinks with a drag queen or shaking your groove thing with a potential hook-up, Q is a sanctum for open-minded people who like to have a good time.
