'Forbes' features Claude VonStroke showing off his favorite spots in Detroit


Take it as another symptom of the high-earning power of Motor City cachet that Claude VonStroke is featured in Forbes of all places showing off his hometown of Detroit.


It's just a short piece, all one one page, with shots of the impresario at almost a half-dozen locations around town, including Belle Isle, Greektown, and the Magic Stick. VonStroke reminisces:

“Going home to Detroit is always special. My parents still live here and so do some of my closest friends,” VonStroke says. “This year I headlined the Movement Festival, which was a highlight of my career. To me, it was the equivalent of playing Madison Square Garden if I were from New York.”
