Two of the most powerful voices in Detroit will sit down together for a candid discussion. As part of her Essential Conversations series, WDET’s Ann Delisi invites Flint Eastwood frontwoman Jax Anderson to discuss her latest EP This is a Coping Mechanism for a Broken Heart, her inspiration, and what it was like growing up gay in a religious household — something Anderson openly explored on last year’s cathartic dance-floor jam, “Real Love.” Following the conversation, Anderson will perform a stripped-down set and conduct a Q&A with the audience.
