It's been a month since alt-rap wunderkind (and Metro Times artist to watch) Sam Austins dropped "Fenty" — an unexpected celebration of Rihanna and her inclusive, fly AF cosmetics line of the same name.

A lot has happened for the 21-year-old Motown heir (he's the son of Harold "Spike" Bonhart of The Four Tops.) Namely, a billboard of the glitter-clad rapper at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Trumbull, a flurry of unsolicited clips of fans performing covers, and now, a video.

Directed by Kurt Schneider, "Fenty" finds Austins drenched appropriately in hues of electric pink, wild lilac, and periwinkle blue (ala RiRi's Mattemoiselle plush matte lipstick palette) while chilling with a bevy of  Fenty-wearing femme fatales.

No word from the goddess divine Rihanna — but we think she would give Austins a Gloss Bomb kiss of approval. So, slather on some Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter and shine bright like a goddamn diamond.

Sam Austins will perform wsg BevLove at El Club on Saturday, April 7; 4144 W. Vernor Hwy., Detroit; 313-279-7382; Tickets are $10-$13.
