Get tested and spread the love because this Valentine’s Day is all about the healthcare warriors of Planned Parenthood. The Village of Love benefit comes to Detroit by way of Los Angeles, where the event has been an annual tradition for six years. The Motor City iteration invites a bevy of babe-fronted bands like Stef Chura, Anna Burch, Britney Stoney, Willa Rae, and Bevlove.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Planned Parenthood of Michigan, an organization that provides reproductive services, STD testing, emergency contraception, hormone therapy for transgender patients, various men’s health care services, as well as cancer screenings and pelvic exams for women — and often do so on a sliding scale for low-income patients.

Village of Love: A Planned Parenthood Benefit begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14 at Deluxx Fluxx; 1274 Library St., Detroit; 313-788-7015; deluxxfluxx.com; Tickets are $15.
