In case you hadn't heard the news, two of Detroit's best hip-hop talents have teamed up to make one mean-ass record. Former MT cover boy Danny Brown and the freakishly talented Black Milk are releasing their anticipated EP, Black and Brown, on November 1st via Fat Beats Records. It's going to blow a lot of listeners away when folks hear it based on the quirky songs and creative compositions that I've been privileged to hear thus far. Lot's of crazy drums and snares on behalf of Black Milk who produces and engineers all 10 tracks and plenty of "did he really just say that?" lyrics coming out of Danny's mouth per usual
As of yesterday, the temporary duo released their debut single and everything from Frank Zappa, pearl necklaces, and non-prescription pills gets referenced. Both of these cats are on tour now separately but will hopefully play a show together soon in Detroit.
