It’s not long now before one of the hottest packages we’ve seen in a while, Rio & Her Rockabilly Revival with the Carolyn Striho Group, hits Callahan’s in Auburn Hills on June 15.
Says Striho, “Rio and band are amazingly intense and their music is spot-on! Together, we plan a a resurrection of rock and roll soul at this fantastic club, with both full bands promising a really neat night! Show starts right at 8 pm, don't be late :).
“Then we return to the Ann Arbor Summer Festival, one of the best festivals in the Midwest, Thursday night, June 27th. We're looking forward to the acoustic Grove Stage at 6 pm and hope you can make it out that evening.
“And Friday and Saturday night, June 28th and June 29th we’re playing at a great newer venue, Bachelor’s One Tavern, Keego Harbor, Michigan – 2 nights near the Lake at a cozy “up north” club close to Detroit – our full band features Scott Dailey, Ron Wolf, Bonnie Kaye and Dave Dion - and you never know what special guests might join up! Come on up and join us at 9:30 pm for some hot summer nights .”
