Former Rationals and Powertrane man Scott Morgan will be performing a set of Rationals songs with his band the Irrationals on Sunday, November 26 at the Corktown Tavern in Detroit. Cover is $7.

The show will serve two purposes – an Irrationals set is always fun, but it will also introduce classic Grande Ballroom poster artist Gary Grimshaw’s new Wyandotte Set.

According to the press release, “The Wyandotte Set, beginning at 8:00pm. The Wyandotte set is a portfolio produced in a limited edition of 100 to include thirteen of Gary’s quintessential images and one bonus per set. It starts with Gary’s first image, the Seagull, from 1966 and spans the first 25 years of his 45 year career. The last set number is the Rob Tyner Tribute Poster created in 1992 for a concert after Rob’s passing. The 14th image of the set is the artist’s choice; often the image will be the Butcher’s Inn poster which has thumbnails of a sampling of Gary’s best work. All images in each of 100 presentation portfolios will be signed and numbered by hand and topped with the custom set logo design poster. This collector’s dream limited edition of 100 sets of 15 images in an elegant folio is priced at $225.00 each.”

The show will be fantastic. Classic Detroit rock ’n’ roll complimented by classic images./p> Click here to join the City Slang Turntable community!!!
