Detroit rockers the Muggs will play the Cadieux Cafe on Saturday, November 5, a beefit for CJAM.

According to a statement, “The world’s ugliest band, the Muggs, will be joined by Jarrod Wolny (of Grayling), Donald “Doop” Dupree (of Doop & The Inside Outlaws), Class Three Overbite and special guests for a rockin’ evening of music at the Cadieux Café on Saturday, November 5 to benefit CJAM (99.1) http://www.cjam.ca community radio in Windsor/Detroit.”

Doors open at 8 p.m. and cover is $10 with the funds going towards CJAM’s annual pledge drive. The Cadieux Café is located at 4300 Cadieux Road - Detroit, MI 48224 - (313) 882-8560.

The “ugliest band in the world” tag is debatable. Lord knows, we have some gurners here in the D. Maybe that should be the subject of a future City Slang. Anyway, enjoy the benefit.
