Detroit hard rock bands Kaleido and Citizen Zero will play together on Friday, November 30 at the Magic Stick in Detroit. Brooklyn band Shinobi Ninja opens the show.
According to the press release, “Female-fronted Kaleido will be celebrating the release of their highly anticipated debut EP at the Magic Stick. Coming off a red-hot summer that included two dates on the Warped Tour (Detroit and New Jersey), and opening slots for national acts The Offspring (Fillmore Theatre) and Evans Blue (The Blind Pig). Kaleido also took first place at the 89X Battle of the Bands, winning a slot on the radio stations annual Birthday Bash at DTE Energy Music Theater.”
Citizen Zero's sophomore EP "Life Explodes" was released in October 2012. Produced by Kid Rock's longtime recording engineer Al Sutton at his Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak, the six-song EP includes contributions by an illustrious list of Detroit rock royalty, including Vinnie Dombroski (Sponge, Crud), Twisted Brown Trucker Band lead guitarist Marlon Young, and all-star vocalist Herschel Boone.
