The inaugural FoxFest will take place at the Tangent Gallery in Detroit on Friday, May 16, and features four female-fronted Detroit rock bands, two women artists, and two local vendors.
They say, “Admission is $8 and proceeds benefit the Michigan based women's shelters, "Alternatives for Girls" (www.alternativesforgirls.org) in Detroit, Turning Point Shelter in Macomb, (www.turningpointmacomb.org) and LACASA Center (www.lacasacenter.org) in Howell-one of the few in the state which allow pets to accompany the women at the shelter. The event will be held at THE TANGENT GALLERY located at 715 E. Milwaukee in Detroit. The bill features White Shag, The Luckouts, Meridith Lorde & the Tainted Saints and Downfall.
