Local hard rockers Dead in Five will perform at the premier of the film Pro-Wrestlers Vs Zombies at the Token Lounge in Westland on December 14.
The film which has to be so ludicrously that it’s practically unmissable, stars WWE legends Rowdy Roddy Piper, Matt Hardy, Jim “Hacksaw” Duggan, Shane Douglas, and Olympic champ Kurt Angle. The movie is directed by Cody Knotts -who will be in attendance for the Detroit event.
According to the press release, “Adding to the festivities will be a “Hot Zombie Contest” where vixens dressed as the undead can compete to win a “killer” prize pack that includes a $100 Lucky Monkey Tattoo gift certificate, jars of Dead in 5’s lead singer Robert Libres’ notorious “Demon’s Blood” and “Face Melter” hot sauces, plus a copy of Dead in 5’s new CD.”
“Also on hand will be Rock and Rummage - hawking their cool wares, a spanking booth wielded by Flint, Michigan dominatrix’s - the Dirty Girls, and tarot card readings all night long.”
“Detroit rockers Dead in 5 have eight songs featured on the “Pro-Wrestlers Vs. Zombies” soundtrack. In addition, to the premiere, Dead in 5 will be celebrating their one year anniversary and the release of the band’s first full length CD, “Wreck Your World,” which includes songs from the film in addition to four never released tracks.”
