Local Metal Blade Records artists Battlecross will play Harpos in Detroit on April 25. Cattle Decapitation will headline, and the bill is rounded off by Origin, Decrepit Birth and Aborted.

BATTLECROSS’s Metal Blade debut, Pursuit of Honor, was released August 2nd, 2011 and within months they landed in the #1 position of Sirius XM's the Devil's Dozen Countdown with their single “Push Pull Destroy”.

In entirely different news, Motown man Kem’s third album, Intimacy has officially been certified GOLD for reaching sales of 500,000 units.

“It’s truly an honor to have the music recognized,” said KEM. “To know that the fans enjoy the music enough to help my albums reach gold status sincerely humbles me. I’m in constant awe of the incredible level of love and support that all three albums continue to receive from fans, radio and the music community, and am so grateful to everyone involved for helping INTIMACY achieve gold status.”

Congrats, sir.
