The 48th Art & Apples Festival takes place on September 6-8 at Rochester Park.

Festival Director, Laura Bates looks forward to the event saying, “This year, the Art & Apples Festival received a higher number of artist applications and with that, has attracted an immense amount of artistic talent. Those who attend the festival each yearwill be happy to see both familiar faces and exciting newcomers at the 2013 festival, and are sure to be impressed by the high caliber artists and their work.”

The festival features all manner of arts and crafts, from baking to jewelry making. There’s plenty of music too, courtesy of the Stoney Creek High School Cougar Marching Band, MDM Dance Project, Jennifer Kincer, Hubbell Street Jazz, School of Rock, Guardians of Harmony Barbershop Chorus, Motor City Saxophone Quartet, We 3 & She, and Acoustic Madness, among others.

Music, crafts and cooking. It’s as American as, well, apple pie.
