City Slang: AntiFreeze lineup change

Everyone at the Metro Times would like to wish Andre Williams well, after the legendary “Bacon Fat” man suffered a stroke. Get well soon, sir.

As a result, Williams has obviously had to pull out of January’s AntiFreeze Blues Festival in Ferndale. According to the organizers, “Larry McCray will be taking his place that evening. Pleased note that the ticket price for the January 5 show has changed as well, tickets are now $20. We wish Andre all the best in his recuperation.”

Williams will inevitably be missed, but the addition of McCray means that the event still has plenty to offer.
