Amy Gore & Her ValentinesIn Love album has just been released on colored vinyl through Bloodshot Records.

They say, “Amy Gore and her Valentines have pure Detroit pedigrees in spades – their musical backgrounds give them the chops they need to rock, but it’s the on stage synchronicity that drives the band. Their first single was released in 2011, and garnered praise from Huffington Post, Detroit Metro Times. Now, the debut album from Amy Gore and her Valentines is here! “

In Love was produced, engineered and mixed by Al Sutton (Detroit Cobras, Kid Rock) and includes special guests Luis Resto (Was (Not Was), Eminem), funk guitar genius Dennis Coffey and guitarist Jackson Smith’s pianist sister, Jesse Paris Smith.”

In addition, the band has a new member. Gore says, “Pete Ballard of Deadstring Brothers and Doop & the Inside Outlaws is playing pedal steel and guitar with us! Pete is great, things are sounding pretty damn good!”

The band is playing this Saturday, August 3, at the New Holland Brewery & Pub in Holland, MI, with French pop star Anne Horel.
