Blues Hall of Famer Lazy Lester to headline Anti-Freeze Blues Festival

The annual Anti-Freeze Blues Festival is returning to the Magic Bag in Ferndale once again, welcoming another terrifyingly cold January to Michigan, with hopes that the blisteringly hot blues lineup will warm things up — even if it's just for the weekend.

Blues legend Lazy Lester was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2012, and will be anchoring this year's lineup. The two-night mini-festival spans Friday and Saturday night this weekend, with doors opening at 7 p.m. each night.

Saturday night's lineup features The Siegel-Schwall Band, another legendary group within the genre. Admission for each night is $25, with a portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to benefit the Detroit Blues Society. Each night features a four-band bill, as the festival celebrates its 21st year.
