Metro Times is happy to announce that the Ypsilanti-based Lightning Love will be featured on FOX2 on Sunday, March 2nd. The indie pop trio is performing at Blowout on Saturday, March 7 at 8 p.m. at the Belmont. The Night Move transportation company will be providing the Metro Times Blowout with shuttle service this year. The Night Move is a new shuttle service that transports people from the Royal Oak and Ferndale area to downtown Detroit and back. Company creators Jennifer Harlan and Chris Ramos began The Night Move as a way to fill a public transit void in the metro area. The Night Move is environmentally conscious as well, partnering with Clean Emission Fluids and NextEnergy to run their buses on B20 biofuel. Metro Times is excited to work with the Night Move and routes around Blowout will run from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
