Beck and Cage The Elephant are setting out on a co-headlining summer tour which will stop at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 3.

Completing the trifecta of decorated alternative rock veterans on 'The Night Running' tour is Spoon, who will hand the baton off to the co-headliners.

Beck is riding the wave of some of the most positive reviews of his career after taking home the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album last night. Released in late 2017, Colors beat out hefty competition like Arctic Monkeys, Björk, and St. Vincent to become Beck’s seventh Grammy award victory.

So far in 2019, Beck has contributed two singles to movie soundtracks. The first is “Tarantula,” a cover of a 1983 Colourbox song, which is featured on Music Inspired by the Film ROMA. Whereas Beck’s most recent single, “Super Cool,” is a silly and fun pop collaboration with Robyn and The Lonely Island as part of The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part soundtrack.

Cage The Elephant just announced their fifth record, Social Cues, will be released on April 19. The album will feature a song with Beck called “Night Runners” which concertgoers can likely expect to see performed together on this tour.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 15 on 313Presents.com.
