Friends, are you ready to party?! Well, you're going to have to wait some weeks for this party, but holy moley do we have a killer music festival planned for you: the eighteenth Metro Times Blowout, going down all over the greater Detroit metropolitan area from April 29 - May 2!

Over 200 bands will play over the course of four nights, in cool venues located in Ferndale, Detroit, and Hamtramck. You can still purchase advance weekend passes for only $20, right here.

That's right, our humble super-party Blowout is now old enough to vote, buy cigarettes, and fight in a foreign war.

Headliners we're announcing today include Andrew W.K., the world's party-starter, top advice columnist, and onetime Bulb recording artist.

There's also the avant-garage excellence of the Black Lips, the downright anthemic hardcore of Fucked Up, and the beyond catchy grunge-pop of Alvvays

We've also got the grungy pop-punk of Pup, and the rousing, dramatic pop-rock of the Arkells, plus over 200 more acts, as well — a killer mix of local and international artists across myriad genres.

All for only $20! See you there.
