Each summer Mad Decent Block Party rolls through the U.S., calling fans of EDM, rap, and hip-hip to party on the lawns of the some of the country's best outdoor venues.

Last year the day-long concert's metro Detroit stop took place at Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester Hills and this year it was slated to take place on the grounds of the Palace of Auburn Hills. However, neither venue will host the party this year.

Earlier today, Palace Sports Entertainment announced Mad Decent Block Party would move to the Russell Industrial Center.

All tickets that were purchased through the Palace will be honored, according to a release. However, the show will now be for ages 16 and older only. Tickets purchased by those under the age of 16 will be refunded the cost of their ticket.

Mad Decent Block Party takes place on August 15 at 3 p.m. For more info, click here, although venue information for the Detroit stop has not yet been updated on Mad Decent Block Party's site.
