Today is World Whiskey Day

Each year the third Saturday in May gets a special designation. It's World Whiskey Day. And that day is today.

According to WorldWhiskeyDay.com the holiday's aim is to get people to celebrate the water of life. And that's it.

So whether you prefer Jameson, Jack Daniels, or Jim Beam, or Valentine's Woodward Whiskey, Two James' Grass Widow, or Detroit City Distillery's Bloodline Whiskey — grab a bottle and some friends and enjoy the hooch. It is a holiday, after all.
