SheWolf Pastificio & Bar
is one of the most anticipated restaurant openings of 2018, and Grey Ghost is one of Detroit's most well-loved restaurants.
On Monday Dec. 18, Grey Ghost chef John Vermiglio and SheWolf chef Anthony Lombardo combine forces for a one-night-only multi-course dinner at Apres Ski Central, the faux ski-lodge set up in Cadillac Square. All proceeds go to benefit Livonia's Guardian Angel Animal Rescue.

The dinner includes a wine selection and specially crafted cocktails created by Grey Ghost's Will Lee. Live entertainment will be provided by Dan Tillery & Dave Geezy.

Grey Ghost specializes in high end new American fare at its Brush Park location, while SheWolf — a "Roman-inspired" restaurant — will open sometime in 2018 in Midtown's Selden Building. Lombardo, a former Bacco chef, will mill his own flour and prepare his own pastas in house — pastificio translates from Italian to "pasta factory." We imagine that the chefs' skills will complement each other nicely.

Tickets are $120 (including tip) and are available here.

The menu is as follows:

Canapes: Smoked Mussels / Miso Butter / Yuzu / Caviar
Pig Tail Panino / Taleggio / Pancetta / Rapini Pesto

First Course: Scallop Crudo / Chicken Skin / Honeycrisp Apple / Harissa / Caraway

Second Course: Acorn Squash Pozole / Black Bean / Masa Dumpling / Cumin Crema / Avocado

Third Course: Chestnut Ravioli / Panettone Crumble / Sage

Fourth Course: Beef Short Rib / Parsnip / Celery Root / Natural Jus
