Brown Iron Brewhouse is planning a new location in a development taking shape at 13 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue.

Plans for the Washington Township-based restaurant and beer hall include 64 taps of Brown Iron and other American craft beers, and a food menu centered around meats that are smoked for 14 to 16 hours. Among the options are a smoked corned beef plate, smoked meatloaf dinner, and a smoked beef brisket dinner. Brown Iron's kitchen will also offer burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers like smoked burnt ends and cheese curds.

The restaurant is part of a development adjacent to Beaumont Hospital's Royal Oak campus. It also includes a Grabbagreen, a national chain that serves healthy and fresh bowls, wraps, and smoothies, and a Meijer grocery store called Woodward Corner Market, Crain's reports.

The restaurants could be open as early as July.
