Metro Times’ Hall of Whiskey returns to the Fisher Building this weekend

Forget the boughs of holly. ’Tis the season to deck the halls with whiskey, as Metro Times’ annual scotch, bourbon, and whiskey-tasting event takes over the stunning lobby of Albert Kahn’s architectural masterpiece, the Fisher Building, for a pre-holiday soiree. Hall of Whiskey’s distilled delights also include a growing list of rare sips and surprises. To soak up your samplings, all tickets come with endless whiskey-paired bites supplied by Royal Oak’s Bistro 82 and all are invited to enjoy the smooth sonic stylings of Planet D Nonet featuring Tbone Paxton.

Event begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30; 3011 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit; mthallofwhiskey.com; Tickets are $75-$85 and include 10 drink tickets as well as whiskey-paired bites; VIP tickets are $100 and include early entry, access to a VIP area, valet parking, plus a tasting glass and access to top-tier pours.
