On Friday night, the Don Draper at Little Caesars' marketing department apparently decided to get in on March Madness and made a bet on Twitter: If a bottom-seeded team beat a No. 1 seed that night, the pizza chain would offer everyone in the country a free Hot-N-Ready lunch combo.
Of course, the chances of this actually happening were slim to none. Yet against the odds, the University of Maryland-Baltimore County defeated the University of Virginia, becoming the first bottom-seeded men’s tournament team ever to defeat a top-seeded team in the first round.
So now Little Caesars owes us all lunch.
Since the chances are 0%, you are safe!

Per the terms of the promotion, the pizza chain will offer four deep dish slices and a single 20-ounce Pepsi beverage between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, April 2 at participating U.S. Little Caesars locations across the country. The offer cannot be redeemed online or through delivery, and orders must be placed before 1 p.m. the same day. You can read the fine print here.
Because "CRAZY HAPPENED" with a #16 beating a #1 (!!!!), everyone in America gets a free #LittleCaesars Lunch Combo on Monday, April 2nd.
