Hamtramck eatery to give away free shawarmas to first 1,000 customers

Ali Baba Shish Kebob, a new Middle Eastern restaurant opening in Hamtramck, is giving away free schwarmas to its first 1,000 customers beginning today at noon.

Owner Larry Shallah told the Freep that he and his staff will serve the free menu item exclusively between noon and 3 p.m. today, and that additional menu service will commence after 3 p.m.

The restaurant is located at 3124 Caniff in Hamtramck, and lines will certainly start forming shortly.
