Korbel Sweet Rosé | 11% ABV | $15

Looking for the perfect champagne to toast the New Year with? Korbel, a California champagne, might have just the thing for you. While they have plenty of varieties (brut, natural, extra dry) their Sweet Rosé serves best as an aperitif or with appetizers, which is probably how you'll enjoy this bubbly come midnight.

Sweet Rosé is a sparkling wine that's made using a broad array of grapes. Varieties like pinot noir, gamay, and zinfandel make it light and bright with high levels of acidity. Using sangiovese makes it aromatic while syrah lends it a deeper, richer color and body. This blend is light and sweet, but not cloyingly so, fruity and full of bubbles – perfect for a midnight toast.

Drink Recipe

1 ounce Chambord Flavored vodka

2 ounces cranberry-apple juice

4 ounces Korbel Sweet Rosé

Mix Chambord and cranberry juice in a shaker with ice, shake and strain in a wine glass and top with Korbel Sweet Rosé. Garnish with strawberry slice.
