The former home of Olga's Kitchen, a prominent space in the One Campus Martius building, will soon be occupied by a new restaurant and bar.

Bedrock Real Estate Services is expected to announced Tuesday what exactly will take up the  4,000-square-foot eatery that sits on Woodward and Gratiot, which was abruptly vacated by Olga's in September, just months after the popular Troy-based chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

At the time, Bedrock executive VP Dan Mullen said that the real estate service company would look to fill the space with another suitable tenant, preferably another restaurant.

“Bedrock was happy to work with Olga’s to relieve the company of its lease obligation and outstanding debt, enabling this longtime Michigan business to take an important step forward in the financial restructuring of the entire restaurant chain,” Mullen said in a statement at the time.

The sprawling, ground-level space is situated on the same block as a number of chains, including Hard Rock Cafe and Texas de Brazil steakhouse. Details about the new dining establishment were not released Monday, but a media alert teases that the concept "will be the first-of-its kind to open in Detroit and Michigan."
