Andiamo will debut their food truck this Thursday

Metro Detroit's Andiamo Restaurant Group announced this morning that they're branching out from their fine dining roots. They'll debut their brand new food truck on Thursday at the corner of Brush and Monroe streets in downtown Detroit. The truck will be stationed there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — just in time for the lunch rush — offering $3 pasta bowls to the hungry masses. As a special treat to their first 50 customers, they'll give away a free pasta bowl to each.

According to a press release, the truck will serve up items that reflect Andiamo's traditional menu. Calamari, sausage and peppers, and pasta with meatballs will all be featured on a rotating menu.

This won't be the first time the public's seen Andiamo's new food truck, either. It showed up at the Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix a few weeks ago. The truck will appear at other food truck rallies and events throughout the season, too.
