A good reason to knock off early today

It's one of those incredible beers that people line up for, an imperial stout made with about a million tons of coffee and chocolates, cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year, and enjoys a 100 rating on RateBeer.com.

The beer will begin flowing in Chesterfield at the Twisted Rooster at 5 p.m., but die-hard fans might want to arrive a bit early to beat any lines. So remember, right around now, go tell your supervisor that lunch isn't agreeing with you, and that you'll hold out as long as you can. See you at the bar.

Twisted Rooster is at 45225 Marketplace Blvd., Chesterfield; 586-949-1470; twisted-rooster.com.
