This year, in addition to 28,000 backpacks that will go to Detroit Public School students, Project Backpack is giving away backpacks filled with school supplies to any southeast Michigan student entering grades K-5 for the 2019-20 school year. Join Mike Morse, Hooper and a surprise Detroit Pistons guest for food, music, photos, face painting and fun! Backpacks are first come, first serve while supplies last. Students must be present to receive a backpack.
