Things aren't as they appear to be this Hallows' eve, as our hero Mark takes a mystical, comical journey without leaving the backyard of a Halloween party in Evanston, IL. He meets a cast of costumed characters who teach him life lessons, as he discovers a pregnant, smoking nun can be much scarier than the grim reaper, and you never know where pearls of wisdom will come from. The Hero and the Hag is a delightful romp, with twists and turns and outrageous characters, but at its essence, it's a story of true love.
