Sharif Sehnaoui and Lord Tang

Sharif Sehnaoui is a free improvising guitarist. He plays both electric & acoustic guitars, with (or without) extended and prepared techniques, focusing on expanding the intrinsic possibilities of these instruments. He now resides in Beirut, his hometown, after more than a decade in Paris. Lord Tang is a warm descent into a dub fueled frenzy of color and light. It is a sound dredged from the depths of Jamaican dub and spun into a new form that incorporates the many influences on Lord Tang’s creator, Dominic Cramp: soundtracks, vintage science fiction, abstract tone, dirty electronics, and modular electronic music.
