Real Talk about Tobacco and Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Recovery

People in recovery can quit smoking, and when they do, they experience improved mental health and greater rates of sobriety. Rosemary Bak Lowery, MS, CHES®, CNP, ACSM-CPT; Health Educator, Tobacco Treatment Specialist at University of Michigan’s Tobacco Consultation Service will discuss the connection between smoking and mental health/substance use disorders, challenges faced in quitting and resources for quitting.
