Pug Rescue Network Charity Picnic

When: Sat., Oct. 14, 12-4 p.m. 2017

Pug Rescue Network invites you to join us on Saturday, October 14 at noon for our annual Pug-o-ween. There will be costumes contests, prizes and raffles. Come out and meet our available pug and have a spooky good time. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Fresh cider and donuts form a local cider mill included. Hot Dog Lunch will be available for purchase. All well mannered breed are welcome.

Santa Speedo Run
Every winter for the past eight years, brave souls in the Detroit area freeze for a mile in just speedos and Santa hats while running along Woodward Ave. from Campus Martius. The event is a fundraiser run by Halo Detroit to benefit local charities. This year, the organization has the goal of drawing 250 participants, with proceeds to be split between The Greening of Detroit and the Ruth Ellis Center.
