Opera MODO Presents Mozart's "The Magic Flute" AKA #SuperFlute

Opera MODO invites you to go down the warp pipe for their REGIONAL PREMIERE of #SuperFlute, a new English adaptation of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” by Josh Shaw and E. Scott Levin from Pacific Opera Project. #SuperFlute blends Mozart’s fantastical score with the best-known characters of classic arcade games (think along the lines of an infamous red-hatted plumber and an ocarina-playing warrior!). Presented with state-of-the-art projections in the arcade at Replay Cafe Detroit, this new production will fully immerse the audience in the magical kingdoms of their favorite 80s and 90s video games.
