Northern Lights: Music for Strings and Piano

Grammy-winning Icelandic violinist Sibbi Bernhardsson and cellist Dmitry Kouzov – praised as “a true artist” by the legendary cellist Mstislav Rostropovich – join CSD pianist Pauline Martin in a program featuring Beethoven ‘s “Ghost” Trio op. 70, no. 1, the evocative Trio in e minor by Shostakovich, selected “Spring Nights” for violin and piano by Thorkell Sigurbjornsson, and Gabriel Fauré’s Elegy for cello and piano.
