Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett

Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett recently teamed up to write an album together. This is pretty big news, considering the two are basically the current king and queen of indie rock. Although the full album is yet to be released, the duo has graced us with two music videos that are as endearingly hilarious as one would expect. Watching the videos for “Over Everything” and “Continental Breakfast” is like watching the home videos of your cool aunt and uncle that you don’t know super well, but wish you did. If you want to get to know them better, here's your chance.

Doors open at 7 p.m.; 318 W. Fourth St., Royal Oak; 248-399-2980; royaloakmusictheatre.com; Tickets are $36.
